Dr. Reem Assaf completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (B.D.S) degree from Baghdad University of Dentistry College in 2000. She has an advanced endodontic training certificate in Root Canal Treatment & Retreatment from the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (Clinical Endodontics) in Dubai and a one-year Clinical Endodontic Diploma from the Master Academy, Dubai. Dr. Reem also holds an advanced Endodontic Training Certificate from Global Development Center, Dubai.

The surgery is usually performed by a dental specialist or a dental surgeon.
