Clinical Training Program

Admission Cycle

  • 1. A candidate should submit an application for enrolment into the training program using the online application under the link clinical training
  • 2. Once the application is received, the Academic Affairs Department will conduct review on the application to indicate whether:
    • 2.1. The application is complete and is supported with all required documents.
    • 2.2. The candidate meets the criteria set out by SGHD committee.
    • 2.3. There is a place available to accept the applicant.
  • 3. If the application is not complete, the Academic Affairs Department department will inform the applicant and request complete documentation.
  • 4. If the candidate either does not meet the criteria or requests to join a program that is not offered by SGHD, the application will be rejected, and the Academic Affairs Department department will inform the applicant with clarification.
  • 5. If the application is complete, and the candidate meets the criteria, however there is no place presently available to accept the applicant, the Academic Affairs Department department will put the application on hold and inform the applicant with an expected date to possibly proceed with the application.
  • 6. In case of withheld applications following point 5, the Academic Affairs Department department shall continuously review to check for available places and notify the applicant once a place is available.
  • 7. In case the application meets points 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3, the Academic Affairs Department department will:
    • 7.1. Forward accepted application to Director of Clinical Training.
    • 7.2. Issue an acceptance letter which the candidate will use to obtain an eligibility letter from the DHA and send to the applicant.
    • 7.3. Request the applicant to sign an agreement and pay the first installment of the program fees to confirm on the training seat.
    • 7.4. Once the eligibility letter is received from the candidate, the Academic Affairs Department will ask the candidate to pay the license fee and will ask the HR department to start issuing the trainee license.
  • 8. Once the license is issued and received, the Academic Affairs Department department will confirm on the applicant to start the program and pay the security deposit.
