Support for Nursing and Patient Care

  • 1. All trainees are entitled for proper and high-level support from all relevant SGHD staff since they applied till completing the program.
  • 2. Trainees who face difficulty or have matter of concern are encouraged to do the following:
    • 2.1. Medical issues: to discuss the issue first with the relevant tutor, if it is not sorted out or the trainee is still unsatisfied with the outcome, S/He should refer to the Academic Affairs Department for further advice.
    • 2.2. Academic Affairs Department will review the issue and will refer to the Clinical Training Director for further advice.
    • 2.3. The Academic Affairs Department will inform the trainee about the outcome in writing.
    • 2.4. Administration issues should be referred directly to the Academic Affairs Department which will liaise with the relevant department / staff member to sort the issue, the trainee should expect a response within five working days.
  • 3. Suspending the program should be based on genuine reasons.
  • 4. Trainees can request interruption for training from the Academic Affairs Department , requests must be submitted in writing stating the reason and attaching supporting documents.
