Dr. Hossam has been serving in the field of cardiology since 2004, starting his career at the National Heart Institute in Cairo, Egypt—the largest cardiology center in Africa and the Middle East. Over the years, he advanced to become the Head of the Emergency Department in 2014 after completing his postgraduate degree in Cardiology from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt.
Dr. Hossam possesses extensive experience in cardiac pre-participation sports evaluation programs, exemplified by his role as Head of the Medical Committee during the African Nations Championship held in Egypt in 2019. In addition, he has been a member of the Medical Advisory Council of the Healthcare Authority in Egypt since 2022.
Currently, Dr. Hossam is the Head of the Cardiology Department at Saudi German Hospital Egypt, overseeing operations in both Cairo and Alexandria since 2021. His commitment to excellence and patient care has solidified his reputation as a leading cardiologist in the region.
