Dr Rita Daaboul is a highly trained and fully qualified Australian General Surgeon with more than 20 years of experience across three specialties. After a highly successful independent practice in Sydney Australia for more than 13 years, practising both in the private and the public hospital systems, she moved to Dubai in 2019, and has since provided her significant expertise in various Dubai hospitals.

Dr Rita initially qualified as a General Surgeon after numerous years of rigorous and highly competitive training with the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. This was followed by specific subspecialty training in all aspects of Breast Oncology Surgery, through fellowship training with the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, and the Sydney Cancer Centre. This training also included a melanoma fellowship with the Sydney Melanoma Unit / Melanoma Institute Australia, under the mentorship of the world – renowned Professor John Thompson.

Subsequent to the above, Dr Rita pursued further specific training in breast oncoplastic surgery, and subsequently expanded her interests to all aspects of aesthetic plastic surgery, throughout numerous rigorous years that followed. She therefore not only brings a wealth of expertise and experience, with comprehensive skills and knowledge incorporating the functional, the oncological, as well as the aesthetic aspects, but above and beyond this, she endeavours to practise with a very high level of ethics and uncompromising patient advocacy.

Dr Rita Daaboul provides the following services:

General Surgery (Functional Surgery):

Laparoscopic cholecystectomy, laparoscopic appendicectomies, laparoscopic and open hernia repairs, Gastroscopies and colonoscopies, hemorrhoidectomies, anal fissures, all lumps and bumps and other general surgeries, including emergency services.

Melanoma and other skin cancers (Oncological Surgery):

Wide resections of melanoma and other skin cancers, sentinel lymph node biopsies, regional lymph node dissections, local flaps and skin grafts.

Oncoplastic Breast Surgery (Oncological Surgery):

All benign and malignant breast surgery, including breast screening, breast conservation surgery, all types of mastectomies, nipple sparing or skin sparing

mastectomies, therapeutic mammoplasties, sentinel lymph node biopsies, axillary dissections, nipple discharges, axillary lumps, other procedures.

Breast Reconstruction Surgery:

Congenital breast deformity or developmental/ acquired asymmetry, Tuberous breast deformity, Expanders and breast implant reconstructions, chest wall perforator flaps, pedicled flaps, fat grafting / lipofilling, nipple reconstruction

Aesthetic Plastic Surgery:

Breast Augmentation, Breast Reduction, Breast Lift surgery with or without implants, gynecomastia surgery, abdominoplasty, post weight loss body lifts and lipectomies, fat transfers, arm lifts, thigh lifts, multiple other procedures.
