Dr. Rajaratnam Ayyanar, is a noted neurologist with more than 20 years of experience in his chosen field. He has received his education and training from across the globe, covering the Indian subcontinent, UK, USA and in Dubai, UAE. After completing his post-graduation in internal medicine in 1993, he got his DM – postdoctoral specialization in neurology in 1999. Dr. Ayyanar has completed his formal medical education from the Madurai Medical College in India. He has also undergone further training in epilepsy, sleep medicine and neurovascular diagnostics from the UK and the USA. His early years in neurology was marked by an illustrious occupation in professing clinical medicine and neurology to postgraduate students. He was a research guide appointed by the Indian Council of Medical Research to study genetic factors in epilepsy syndromes. He has been practicing in Dubai since 2003. He was awarded a Fellowship by the World Federation of Neurology in 1997. His name is also included in the who’s who by Marquis in 2003 for his professional achievements. He is an ardent believer in technology and its’ role in the enhancement of clinical practice. He’s a certified practitioner in machine learning and received his invention patent-pending in the USPTO for the artificial olfactory system
