Dr. Abdulla Alhassani is a Consultant Therapeutic Gastroenterologist with more than 20 years of experience in advanced endoscopy and the management of complex gastrointestinal disorders. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada (FRCPC) and is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology in both Canada and the United States. He completed advanced fellowship training in Therapeutic Endoscopy and Endoscopic Ultrasound in France. He formerly served as Head of the Gastroenterology Department and Head of the Medical Departments at Zayed Military Hospital (ZMH). He currently serves as President of the Emirates Society of Gastroenterology and Hepatology and is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. Recognized as a pioneer in advanced therapeutic endoscopy, he has led the introduction and advancement of multiple endoscopic bariatric and endoscopic anti-reflux procedures in the region.
