Cancer care (oncology) center at Saudi German Hospital Dubai (SGHD) is the most advanced state of the art facility for the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Bringing premium and comprehensive cancer care services to the community in cooperation with superior led by well known, compassionate and expert Oncologists. According to WHO (World Health Organization), Cancer is among the leading causes of death worldwide. Accounting for nearly 10 million deaths in 2020, or nearly one in six deaths.

The aim of SGHD is to provide top-notch cancer care through treatment programs that combine quality patient care, research, technology and collaboration with experts around the world.

Cancer treatment is the use of surgery, radiation, medications and other therapies to cure cancer, shrink cancer or stop the progression of cancer.

Hematology care

Screening of hematological diseases in case of clinical signs of fatigue, fever, night sweats and abnormal weight loss.
Diagnosis and treatment of tumor of lymph nodes (aggressive or indolent lymphoma)
Diagnosis and treatment of Multiple Myeloma and other plasma cell disorders.
Diagnosis and treatment of myelodysplastic disorders.
Diagnosis and treatment of myeloproliferative disorders.
Diagnosis and treatment of chronic& acute leukemia’s.
Management of hematological auto immune disorders like auto immune hemolytic anemias and auto immune thrombocytopenia.
Management of anemia (iron deficiency, Vit B12 deficiency, thalassemia, sickle cell disease, G6PD deficiency).
Management of disorders causing hemorrhagic or clotting disorders.
Multidisciplinary evaluation and treatment plans for hematological and oncological malignancies.
Treatment includes: Chemotherapy (oral, SC, IV and Intrathecal), Targeted Therapy and Immunotherapy.
Adverse events management.
Follow-ups and long-term toxicities follow-up.

We are providing all diagnostic procedures for hematological diseases including bone marrow biopsy & aspiration with all relating morphological, histopathological, immunohistochemistry, immunophenotyping and cytogenetic testing. We are providing in patient admission for diagnosis and treatment all the hematological disorders.

Surgical Oncology Services

At department of Surgical Oncology you will be treated by highly trained, specialized surgical oncologists with years of experience in surgery and cancer care. All of our surgical oncologists are qualified and licensed by DHA and MOPH. Department of Surgical Oncology offers the surgical treatments for the following cancers:

Breast cancer, whether it is breast-conserving surgery (lumpectomy) or total breast removal (mastectomy)
Surgery for esophageal and bowel cancer (small and large bowel), offered laparoscopically or via open abdominal surgeries

Urogenital cancers including prostate, bladder and kidney cancers

SGH’s hematology department offers chemotherapy ,targeted and immunotherapy treatment options for patients with blood cancers. The treatment plans and protocols are tailored to each patient’s specific needs, based on their diagnosis and stage of their disease and by the recent approved treatment protocols .

Bone marrow transplant

SGH’s hematology department offers the care after bone marrow transplantation (BMT) services for patients with blood disorders such as leukemia, lymphoma and other blood cancers. The SGH is led by specialized hematologists and oncologists, who work together with the nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for bone marrow transplant patients.
