Our Life Support Training Course

The Saudi German Hospital in Dubai offers various life support training courses for healthcare providers and laypersons. Some of the courses offered at the hospital include:

The LSTC Courses

Description : The American Heart Association Advance cardiovascular life support course is based on the latest AHA guidelines that incorporate latest scientific evidence. Through didactic instruction and active participation in simulated cases, students will enhance their skills in the recognition and intervention of cardiopulmonary arrest, immediate post-cardiac arrest, acute arrhythmia, stroke and acute coronary syndrome. The ACLS course emphasizes the crucial importance of high-quality CPR to patient survival, integration of effective basic life support (BLS) with ACLS interventions and the importance of effective team interaction and communication during resuscitation.
Target Audience : Healthcare personnel such as Physician, nurses, emergency medical technicians, paramedics, respiratory therapists and other professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies. Course Duration : Approximately 16 hours
Instructors : LSTC AHA certified instructors
Written Exam/Skills Test : Multiple choice written exam and skill test
Card Type : AHA ACLS provider course.
Description : The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is an instructor led video-based course that teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support. This program trains participants to recognize life-threatening situations promptly, provide high-quality CPR, early use of an AED as well as management of choking.
Target Audience : Healthcare personnel such as emergency medical personnel (EMS), physicians, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists and x-ray technologists who must have a BLS completion card documenting successful completion of this course.
Course Duration : Approximately 4.5 hours
Instructors : LSTC AHA certified instructors
Written Exam/Skills Test : Multiple Choice Written Exam and Skills Test
Card Type : AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Description : Heart Code is a Web-based, self-paced instructional program that uses simulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in a virtual healthcare setting. In this environment, students apply their knowledge to real-time decision making and skills development. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each simulation to facilitate learning. After completing the cognitive portion of the course, students practice and test their skills with an AHA instructor.
Target Audience : Healthcare providers such as emergency medical personnel (EMS), physicians, dentists, nurses, respiratory therapists and x-ray technologists who must have a BLS completion card documenting successful completion of this course
Course Duration : Approximately 4.5 Hours

Card Type : AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers Card Students have access to all course content for 2 years after activation of their course key. This content includes access to the BLS for Healthcare Providers Student Manual, a printable BLS for Healthcare providers pocket reference card.
Description : We have lost our loved ones, not due to cardiac arrests but failure to perform few important Life Support procedures before reaching for Healthcare support. It has led to a great disaster in the family. ALL BECAUSE OF ONE REASON! IGNORANCE Let us equip ourselves to be of life-saving help to many around us. The HeartSaver FA-CPR AED course will teach you basics of First Aid, the most common life-threatening emergencies, CPR, AED use, relief of choking and use of barrier devices for ALL AGES. This knowledge and skills in you would many lives in future. DO NOT DELAY! It is intended for all Teacher, School Nannies, Bus drivers and security personnel who have a duty to attend to emergency situations in the workplace (Schools, Hotels, and malls) or in the Community at large.
Target Audience : Teacher, school nannies, teacher aides, security personnel, and driver.
Course Duration : Approximately 4 hours
Instructors : LSTC AHA certified instructors
Written Exam/Skills Test : Optional written test
Card Type : AHA Heartsaver card

Family and Friends CPR course will teach you how to perform CPR and handle choking in adults, children, and Infants. This knowledge and skills in YOU would many lives in future. DO NOT DELAY! It is intended for all family members, friends, nannies and the general community who are interested in learning CPR without the need of a course completion card.
