Dr. Arafat Alfikey has more than 18 years of clinical experience in Orthopedic Surgery with reputable hospitals in Egypt, Oman and UAE

Currently he is working as a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon,
He has extensive experience in trauma & elective Orthopedic surgeries including arthroscopy and arthroplasty operations.

He has performed more than 900 successful knee arthroscopy cases including meniscal repair, ACL & PCL reconstruction as well as multiligament knee reconstruction, alongside more than 400 knee & hip arthroplasty cases over the last 10 years of his experience in gulf.

Area of Interest:

  • Knee Arthroscopy: meniscal repair & partial meniscectomy, ACL reconstruction, PCL reconstruction, Multiligament reconstruction, cartilage procedures including osteochondral transfer systems
  • MPFL Reconstruction and Patellar Realignment Surgeries: including Fulkerson Osteotomy procedure
  • High Tibial Osteotomy Procedures: for lower limb realignment using special plate systems like Tomo fix plate system
  • Arthroplasty: total knee and total hip arthroplasty, hip hemiarthroplasty
  • External Fixation: using uniaxial & ring fixators, pelvic external fixator
  • Traumatology: All types of fracture fixation methods including locking & special types of plate systems
  • Management of low back pain and spinal injuries
