Dr. Lida Jafari, MD, is a highly skilled and American Board-certified Consultant in Nuclear Medicine with extensive experience in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear procedures. With a deep expertise in nuclear oncology, radionuclide therapy, nuclear cardiology, neurology, and endocrine imaging, Dr. Jafari has become a leader in her field. Throughout her distinguished career, she has managed complex and challenging cancer cases using cutting-edge nuclear medicine technologies, consistently improving outcomes for her patients.
Dr. Jafari has also made significant contributions to the field of nuclear medicine, particularly in optimizing diagnostic accuracy and the efficacy of therapeutic interventions. Her areas of expertise include radionuclide therapy for both oncologic and non-oncologic conditions, nuclear brain imaging for neurodegenerative diseases such as dementia and Parkinson’s disease, and the application of PET-CT in cancer diagnosis and management.
Dr. Jafari completed her training at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), one of the world’s leading institutions in nuclear medicine, before spending over seven years practicing in high-volume hospitals across Southern California. She later joined Neuro Spinal Hospital in Dubai, where she continues to offer her expertise to patients in the UAE. Dr. Jafari is an active member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI) in the U.S. and has spoken at numerous conferences hosted by the SNMMI and the American College of Nuclear Medicine.
