    Kidney stones

Our urine contains certain dissolved minerals and salts. When your urine has high levels of these minerals and salts, you can form stones. Kidney stones can start small but can grow larger in size, even filling the inner hollow structures of the kidney. Some stones stay in the kidney, and do not cause any problems. Sometimes, the kidney stone can travel down the ureter, the tube between the kidney and the bladder. If the stone reaches the bladder, it can be passed out of the body in urine. If the stone becomes lodged in the ureter, it blocks the urine flow from that kidney and causes pain.

    Bladder Conditions

Your bladder is a hollow organ in your lower abdomen that stores urine. However, there are various kinds of conditions that can affect the function of your bladder. These include:
    Cystitis
    Urinary Incontinence
    Overactive Bladder
    Interstitial Bladder
    Bladder cancer
At Saudi German Hospital, we offer the best kind of treatment for bladder conditions. We understand and acknowledge your concerns and therefore, our well-learned team of doctors and medical staff are always there to assist you in every step that you will take towards your treatment.

    Urinary Tract Infection

The Urinary System comprises Kidneys, Ureters, Bladder, and Urethra. A urinary tract infection can affect any of these. However, UTIs are divided into upper urinary tract infections (affecting kidneys and ureters) and lower urinary tract infections (affecting bladder and urethra). Women have shorter urethra and therefore, women are more vulnerable to this infection.

    Cystitis

Cystitis is particularly known as the inflammation of the bladder that is caused due to an infection in the bladder. This disease is mostly common in women and is rather a cause of nuisance than serious concern. Mild cases of cystitis will get better on its own with little medication. In some cases, an infection could get worse and may lead to a more serious kidney infection. In such a case, it is vita to seek an immediate medical attention.

    Interstitial cystitis

Interstitial Cystitis is also known as Painful Bladder Syndrome or Bladder Pain Syndrome. It is a chronic condition that causes bladder pressure, bladder pain, and sometimes pelvic pain. With interstitial cystitis, these signals get mixed up — you feel the need to urinate more often and with smaller volumes of urine than most people.
Interstitial cystitis most often affects women and can have a long-lasting impact on quality of life. Although there’s no cure, medications and other therapies may offer relief.
