Dr. Elif Basol

Dr. Elif Basol obtained her MD degree from Istanbul University, Faculty of Medicine, in Istanbul, in 2006. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Sisli Etfal Hamidiye Training and Research Hospital in Istanbul, in 2012. She has practiced as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in one of the best-reputed hospital groups, Medipol University Hospital in Istanbul, for 5 years. She has extensive experience in managing low and high-risk Pregnancies. Expert on natural deliveries and also all types of cesareans. She has carried out more than a thousand deliveries so far. She has known well management of general obstetric and gynaecological disorders; obstetric ultrasound and fetal screening, hormonal disbalances in the pubertal period up to menopausal period, screening and management of cervical diseases, miscarriages and D&C procedures, management of cysts and fibroids, family planning and counselling, sexually transmitted diseases. Dr. Basol completed Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART) Clinical Applications Certification Training program at the Istanbul Memorial Hospital, Assisted Reproductive Technologies and Reproductive Genetics Centre in 2015. Afterwards, she served as an Infertility and Reproductive Endocrinology specialist in Antalya IVF Center. Besides, she is still continuing a Master program in the Biotechnology of Human Assisted Reproduction and Embryology in Valencia University. She gained experience in many different, complicated infertility and IVF cases and took part in various research that covered the collection of data and cases of infertility and IVF. She understands the importance of individualized, comprehensive infertility care. Her special interests include polycystic ovarian syndrome(PCOS), poor ovarian responders, premature ovarian insufficiency, recurrent pregnancy loss, and hysteroscopic surgery. Dr. Basol completed a Sexual Therapy Training Certificate program at Sexual Health Association Institute- CISED, in Istanbul. Also, she trained in a Master Course in Aesthetic Genital Surgeries and Non-Surgical Procedures at the International Society of Aesthetic Genital Surgery & Sexology – ISAGSS in 2021.
